I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2001 from The Manchester Metropolitan University.

 

I worked within the NHS for 11 years before leaving to set up a business as an Ofsted-Registered Childminder.​

 

In 2021, I undertook retraining through Birmingham City University to be able to reregister with the Health and Care Professions Council, and I successfully completed my studies in 2022.​

 

I now work full time as an independent paediatric Speech and Language Therapist, in the beautiful coastal town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire and its surrounding areas.
